教練面對的孕產族群主要是哪種類型?

一群高度運動能力的人(可能在懷孕期間過度訓練)與一群日常謹慎運動者,甚至是不運動且對懷孕期間運動感到害怕的人,這兩者之間存在著巨大的差異。

目前在網路上許多關於孕期運動的討論,往往試圖將所有懷孕者一概而論,或者只專注於其中一個極端族群。

當有新的研究或學術論文出現時,切勿做出過於籠統的結論,或完全推翻過去的指導方針與經驗。

同樣重要的是,應該將每一項新的研究或指導方針納入考量,挑戰自己現有的信念與做法。

Which 'type' of the pre and postnatal population are you mostly working with? 

A highly athletic population (that may have a tendancy to go too hard in pregnancy) or a more cautious everyday or even non-exerciser who is scared to exercise in her pregnancy?

There is a huge gap between these two populations and a lot of the conversations that are being held online seem to either be trying to cover off the pregnant population as a whole or just concentrates on one extreme.

When a new study or piece of research comes out in this space it's very important not to make sweeping statements or throw out all previous guidlines or experience.

It is equally as important to take each new piece of research or guidance and challenge your current beliefs and practices.

If you are relying on social media for your updated knowledge I encourage you to find original sources, consider what you are already doing and hold discussions with educated others those around you to arrive at a conclusion.

And then understand that the nuance in the pre and postnatal exercise space lies with your ability to properly understand the woman in front of you and then make decisions about what is the right exercise program for her.
